The internal structure is manufactured using New Zealand solid pine timber, providing the strength and rigidity required for dependable everyday mattress support.

Underneath the base are 9 strategically positioned support legs designed to distribute weight across the structure and provide excellent stability. The approximately 12cm-high legs also raise the base away from the floor for practical clearance.

Finished in Black Velvet upholstery, this version provides a richer and more luxurious appearance than a conventional fabric bed base. The deep black finish pairs particularly well with modern, contemporary and monochrome bedroom furniture.

The base measures W 1530 × L 2030 × H 370mm and is designed for a standard Queen mattress.
